Are you interested in having your book reviewed by Romance Between the Covers? If your answer is "Yes!" then there are a few things that you need to know.
First, RBC only reviews romance books that feature characters of color. What does that mean exactly? If your book features either a hero or heroine (or both) who is African-American, African, Latino, Native-American, Japanese, Chinese, etc., we're interested in reading and reviewing it. Yes, we do accept IR books. What we don't review are books that do not feature any person of color at all. We love all types of romance, including erotic, paranormal, sci-fi, fantasy, military, and contemporary romance books. That said we also do not accept street-lit.
Keep in mind that this is a review blog. Any book that is reviewed by RBC will be based on the reviewer's honest opinion. That said, reviewers won't always love every book, and some will unfortunately receive less than favorable reviews. Romance Between the Covers' acceptance of your review copy in no way implies or suggests a positive review. In addition, not all submitted books will be reviewed.
If you're still interested in a review contact us with the name of your book, the genre, word count, and a synopsis. Currently we accept the following formats: .epub, .mobi and .pdf. Please allow three weeks for the review of your book. We currently post our reviews on our blog, Amazon, and GoodReads.
