Hello book lovers!
Take a look at that cover will you! It is absolutely gorgeous and it caught my attention immediately. I'm a stickler when it comes to covers. If you've read some of my past posts, you know that I strongly believe a good book can get lost when it's represented by a terrible cover. Regardless of how this book ultimately turns out, this author has hooked me so let's hope it delivers!
A Blade so Black is a re-telling of Alice in Wonderland with a WOC as the protagonist! How exciting is that? It's written by a debut author, and as you can see, it isn't set for release until later this year. I for one am ready for some fresh new voices telling out-of-the-box stories that feature POC. So far, this seems like it'll be right down my alley.
